A Beginning Class (four days) is available to those with a professional, ongoing hands-on practice, including anatomy and physiology training. Talented amateur practitioners are occasionally admitted on a case-by-case basis. The Beginning class presents a blended approach of practical, proven techniques for addressing all the major musculoskeletal, nervous and organic systems of the body, along with ways to enhance your palpation, assessment and intuitive skills. The technique is immediately usable and effective after this four-day training.

A three-day Bowen Bridge 1 Class offers review, broadening and deepening of the procedures and skills of the Beginning Class, as well as adding numerous new procedures and approaches. These include an introduction to the lymphatic effects of Bowen — adding a sense of fluid dynamics to the muscle and facial tissues more commonly focused-upon.

Now that basic principles and procedures have been internalized, more emphasis is placed on the interactivity of a therapeutic session. Fewer of the therapists actions are generic, or pre-scripted, or based on analysis — more are based on the client's ongoing tissue responses to what has just been done.

A three-day Bowen Bridge 2 Class introduces more specialized approaches for previously unresponsive conditions. Having alternatives takes away much of the anxiety from therapy; rather than a 'succeed or fail' duality, the session becomes more creative, engaging, almost playful. Students continue to broaden their skill at improvising new procedures on the spot.

More information is presented on the uses of Lymphatic and Vascular reflexes. These are so delicate as to virtually 'fly under the radar' of chronic contractive conditions.

A three-day Bowen Bridge 3 Class Has offers more variations for common ailments, and further addresses the Lymphatic and Vascular Reflex Point systems. Here they are used for multi-session protocols addressing "mystery" conditions such as Firbromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue, etc. in a whole-system approach.

Transitional Class Offering for practitioners of other Bowen-legacy systems

The Bowen Bridge Classes, listed above are also available to students from other Bowen backgrounds than Neural Touch. They are based on Gene Dobkin’s exposure to many manipulative traditions, as well as eighteen years of experimentation with Bowen technology. Many students want to integrate Bowen with their other techniques in the the most efficient and effective way possible. Also there is a desire to free up your session work into a more flowing, individual-directed experience. We trust that these classes will give you a boost in these efforts. Rather than just inject other techniques into an Bowen session, Gene will show you how to “translate” them into Bowen so the combination is seamless and coherent.

There are dozens of supplemental moves and procedures that he has developed or adapted to penetrate with more depth into resistant areas. Also presented will be Bowen versions of Chapman’s neurolymphatic technique, visceral manipulation, cranial balancing and positional and stretching techniques. Bowen's technology works on what could be called a micro-balancing level, i.e. on the cellular and tissue levels. Just a bit of trunk, neck and limb maneuvering added to the mix brings in more of the macro-reeducation at muscle/joint/functional levels. The Bowen Bridge Classes, Phase 1, 2 and 3 are each three days, and cost $600 per session. They are recommended for students who have at least a foundational training and practical experience in a Bowen-derived technique.
